No catching Kauto as champion tastes Haydock success once again

Kauto Star returned to the winners' enclosure at Haydock on Saturday after holding off the strong challenge of Exotic Dancer to land the Betfair Chase at Haydock for the second year in a row.

The winner of last season's Betfair Million after sweeping all before him, Kauto hit a high of [2.12] before the off, and was matched at a low of [1.86]. Eventually sent off at [1.87], last season's winner was matched at a high of [3.00] during the race, before eventually celebrating a return to winning ways.

Exotic Dancer hit an in-running low of [2.0], while My Way De Solzen traded at a low of [2.92] when travelling well on the home bend. Ollie Magern's odds halved at the start from [26.0] to [13.0] when he poached an early lead.
