Massive plunge on returning horse pays off...
Fade To Grey hadn't raced since finishing seventh of nine in a Redcar seller on June 24, 2006, but he landed a sensational [110.0] to [10.0] Betfair morning gamble in winning the concluding event at Kempton this afternoon.
It returned the 8-1 winner on course, but he was available at a much bigger price of [13.5] at Betfair SP.
In fact, Betfair SP again dominated the starting prices returned at a seemingly weak Kempton on-course market, where all seven races returned over-rounds of over 120 per cent, and two over 130 per cent.
