Betfair Starting Price beats industry SP 49 times out of 52 races

Boxing Day was a huge test for Betfair's new SP system and the good news for us and the punter is it passed with flying colours...

With eight meetings taking place across Britain, Boxing Day was always going to provide a stout test of Betfair's new SP system. Well not only did the technology pass with flying colours but the SP delivered a better price than our competitors on 49 occasions from 52 races. Punters would, of course, have to factor in the commission we charge on bets.
