Newmarket will host no fewer than six pattern races on Saturday afternoon as part of the new Future Champions Day scheduling. The two aforementioned Group 1 contests are sure to be of most interest, but the Rockfel Stakes and the Challenge Stakes are both Group 2 contests and should prove equally exciting, not to mention the Cesarewitch Handicap.

Telephone guests on the Timeform Radio Weekend Preview Podcast include Tom Eaves, fresh from his first Group 1 success on Tangerine Trees in last week's Prix de l'Abbaye, with the jockey discussing his chances of victory aboard Red Duke in Saturday's Dewhurst.

Jim Bolger talks to us about his main chances at Newmarket with Parish Hall, Janey Muddles and Whip Rule representing the former Derby winning trainer in the top juvenile contests.

Also on the show is trainer Gay Kelleway , who will be talking about the chances of L Frank Baum in the Cesarewitch Handicap and Swing Alone in the Autumn Stakes.

Graham Cunningham will be working his way through the Challenge Stakes, with the likes of Strong Suit and Chachamaidee heading that contest, whilst the Timeform View on the Cesarewitch Handicap and the two Group 1 features is given by Jamie Lynch.
