The Derby betting has enjoyed a lively shake-up today, and the Betfair market suggests that Ballydoyle will be firing three of their big guns at Epsom.
The reserve artillery on June 5 looks set to be Cape Blanco, who is now out to [30.0] on Betfair, having traded at under [5.5] for the race in the immediate aftermath of his impressive Dante win.
St Nicholas Abbey is relatively weak in the Betfair market at [3.25], and Rewilding is another on the slide at [16.0].
Betfair spokesman Tony Calvin commented: "The Betfair market says that Cape Blanco will now miss the race and plenty of punters were clearly watching the One Show last night.
"Apparently, Frankie Dettori hinted on the show that he would be riding Al Zir, which must have caused a lot of coughing and spluttering for backers of Rewilding.
"Before 7pm last night the impressive Goodwood winner was thought to be Godolphin's number one Epsom hope!"
