Donald McCain: The verdict on my Sunday runners

A quietish Sunday for Donald but he still has a couple with chances at Leicester.

"He’s (Dungeel) a grand, big chasing type who is ready for a run and this looks a good place to start off..."

A couple of possibles for Donald at Leicester on Sunday following the abandonment of Carlisle...

12.50 Leicester - Dungeel

He's a grand, big chasing type who is ready for a run and this looks a good place to start off. He might find a couple too strong but he's got a future and hopefully he will give a good account.

Radio Nowhere

He was very green on his debut and he is probably going to need more time before he shows what he is capable of. He shouldn't mind the conditions but he does look a longer-term prospect.

15.30 Leicester - Ballybriggan

He's a nice horse who has been off the track for a while but is ready to go and we are starting off over hurdles to see where we stand with him. He's going to be novice chasing sooner, rather than later, but he has been a bit fizzy at home and it made sense to start off over hurdles in a bid to try and get him to drop the bridle.
