The Cheltenham Festival is one of the highlights of not only the horse racing year but of the sporting calendar full stop. With tens of thousands of horse fans flocking into the Gloucestershire course over the four days of the Spring Festival coupled with the millions of people watching on TV - it has every right to be talked about as a prime sporting occasion.
The 2010 Cheltenham Festival takes place from 16th - 19th March with the Cheltenham Gold Cup taking place on the final day as usual.
