The Jewson has a number of interesting entrants.
"Willie Mullins has a number of entries, including Sir des Champs..."
A total of 56 horses are entered for the Jewson novices' chase on March 15, but the race remains far from a clear picture...
The likes of Al Ferof, Peddlers Cross and Blackstairmountain were all put into the Jewson picture by their connections, although the suspicion is that they are likely to run in the Arkle and this is something of an insurance engagement.
Similar sentiments apply to Silviniaco Conti, Champion Court and Last Instalment, who are more likely to turn up in the RSA, although Champion Court's trainer Martin Keighley has stated that he will compare the strength of the fields nearer the time.
Willie Mullins has a number of entries, including Sir des Champs and Lambro, whilst Paul Nicholls has also entered Cristal Bonus and Cedre Bleu.
Invictus, from the Alan King yard, is an interesting contender, as the intermediary distance seems to be ideal, and the Nicky Henderson-trained Solix and Zaynar, trained by Nick Williams, are others of note.
