Target Dan is arguably one of the most improved greyhounds to be racing in the lower grades at Walthamstow at present, and the exciting youngster will be bidding for a hat-trick in the A5 contest on Thursday night's card.
Seamus Cahill's promising son of Fire Height Dan has displayed awesome pace from the machine in winning four of his 12 races to date - all from the outside lane, and is once again ideally housed in trap six for his next assignment (20:36).
The hugely progressive pup has stormed though the grades since getting off the mark in a modest A9 event in April, and his 'away and gone' style of running looks set to excite the crowds at the Chingford Road circuit for many months to come.
Although Target Dan recorded a personal best 29.54 when bolting up by four lengths ten days ago, the September 2005 whelp may well be given plenty to think about on Thursday by the likes of the improving pair Peter Rich's Tiger Scot (T2) and Paul Garland's Rough Venus (T3), who are both likely to be staying on stoutly in the latter stages.
