So much to get stuck into after a cracking Juvenile night at Wimbledon - and The Lord is ready to spill the beans. Get ready for some open-race nuggets and dogs to follow...
This week's notebook-musts begin with Cabra Fly and Little Jig from two terrific efforts in the bitches' race live on Sky at Wimbedon on Tuesday.
An eye-catcher at Nottingham last year, Chris Allsopp's Cabra Fly is a lightly-raced sort but she fairly cracked out of the boxes and was never headed. She should continue to improve. Equally, Little Jig stayed on with real purpose and, with a smoother run, might have got closer.
Jesters Nap is quite exposed as the Puppy Derby winner but really did impress with his defeat of King Edward over four bends.
His first run of the year, his was a brilliant show of early pace and terrific bend running and the first two pulled nicely clear. Both should be kicking on, with the Classics very much part of Jesters Nap's programme.
The hurdles race always looked tight on paper, and Winkys Don kept up his terrific recent run. But Freedom Man was noted relatively close up at the line after dreadful problems at the bend. He is still improving.
Capel Wilson outbattled Best Bargain to win over six bends, but remember that the tiring pacesetter was running on the worst of the going and, over a less taxing six bends, could easily have bolted in. His was a gamble that only just failed.
Cabra Boss has been mentioned in dispatches here before but now's he's a full-fledged player!
He was desperately unlucky not to catch Lethal Freddie. The winner ran above himself, but Cabra Boss is becoming the real deal now after one or two near misses. And don't discount the Classic aspirations of Ballymac Ruso, despite his expensive defeat. He ran okay, trust me.
More than okay, however, were the two stars of the night, Ninja Jamie and Fear Zafonic. There would not be much between them, or probably Boherna Best at best, and the Derbys to come are more exciting knowing they will be playing a part.
But in two tough races, I thought Lenson Joker ran well first time behind Ninja Jamie, and College Causeway will also have come on for the run. Again, he was on the worst of the going.
Bubbly Eagle was show-stopping in the marathon, weaving his way through the field with a stunning show of trackcraft. Tougher assignments will come his way, but it was nevertheless good to get that first eight-bend win out of the way. Another clash with Flying Winner should not be sought just yet, mind.

Elsewhere , Monmore's Puppy Derby heats were kicking off later this week and the trial stakes produced one or two clues, although the heats themselves might just be needed to reinforce certain views! Highly touted Bandicoot Tipoki was due to attract most attention.
But one that did not make it in the line-up was Razzmatazz, which is worth noting. He ran okay in a trial stakes at the Wolverhampton venue and then followed up with an easy win at Coventry. Tougher tests await but he looks a nice sort.
Dogs to follow:
Cabra Fly
Little Jig
Jesters Nap
Best Bargain
Cabra Boss
Razzmatazz
