Richard Hannan's Idea Good (T2) in the 3.53 at Oxford is looking to clock up a hat-trick in this A3 contest after wins in A4 and A5 company and her strong early pace looks set to put her in the frame.

Time Rebel (T1) has been slowly away in her last two outings at Sandy Lane and was beaten by four lengths by Black By Design and before that she was four and half lengths behind Penn Bridge. The Ian Wills-trained rails-runner needs to get off to a flier if she's to figure and she looks one to lay.

Idea Good (T2) is looking to chalk up a February treble after back-to-back victories over this afternoon's 450 metre test. The Richard Hannan-trained July 2004 whelp is bang in form, but is stepping up to A3 company for the first time after gold medal runs at A5 and A4 grade. She recorded her best time (27.58) last weekend and her trademark strong early pace looks sure to put her in with a big chance.

Burwood Princess (T3) is no stranger to the bends of Sandy Lane and she was back to winning ways this year by defeating Regthefruitcake by almost a length in her penultimate race. Last time out the January 2002 whelp, despite making a lively start, was uncharacteristically shunted down the field as the 450 metre contest developed. She usually comes on strong off the final arc, but is likely to find one or two too good for her here.

Blitzen Flyer (T4) has picked up three wooden spoons in his last three race outings and definitely looked out of sorts on his return in A3 company last time out. The November 2004 whelp was slowly away and trailed in seven lengths behind Out Half. The Patrick Curtin-trained runner did finish runner-up to Bold Lass in a three-runner trial on January 29, recording his best time of 27.65sec, and he has won in A1 company but he's best watched this time.

Jeffys Rock (T5) racked up a quick treble in January over today's 450 metre trip in A5 and A4 grades and was quickly away on each occasion leading from start to finish. But the September 2002 whelp was stepped up to A3 company last weekend and the Ian Wills-trained wide runner missed the break and was beaten by eight lengths with Rackethall Blue taking the honours. He will need to rediscover his trapping boots if he is to trouble the judge.

Peaches Delight (T6) has not won for 16 races and was third last time out, losing by five lengths to Rackethall Blue. She showed good early pace and got the better of Jeffys Rock (T5) by three lengths. The September 2004 whelp loves running wide but has never won from box six and has been known to sleep at the off, but she should still give trainer Gloria Stringer a decent run if she can break quickly.

Cheetah's late speed to nail rivals
Chilli Cheetah (T3) looks primed to reverse last weekend's second place with Putyourfootinit (T5) and will be hoping to track down her rivals late in the 4.08 over 595m at Oxford.

See You Later (T1) has not won for 10 starts and it's hard to see her reversing that trend on the evidence of her last run over 595 metres. The May 2003 whelp was demolished by over nine lengths by Putyourfootinit (T5) last weekend and finished fourth after being crowded on bend one. It is difficult to see her getting the better of the Richard Hannan-trained bitch.

Fisar Monica (T2) is a familiar figure at Oxford and her versatility means she can never be discounted with any conviction. She was turned over last weekend by Radiant Jo despite leading at bend two. Previous to that run she was edged out by half a length by Our Jock and before that she was again half a length behind Good Time Jill. The May 2003 whelp has been known to make a quick getaway, but she's also finished strongly in recent efforts and it depends on her mood.

Chilli Cheetah (T3) has been in good consistent form of late and her last win came on January 20 in an A8 contest when she headed Laces Dream to take the prize money. The Terry Kibble-trained bitch ran second behind Putyourfootinit (T5) last weekend and after showing strong early pace she stayed on to finish two lengths behind the winner. Last week's beaten 6/4 favourite is definitely capable of winning an event of this type and she will be finishing fast.

Big Foot Four (T4) is not renowned for his racing over 595 metres, but his recent four-bend form is enough to suggest that Richard Hannan's dog will show good early speed. Obvious question marks over his ability to stay the trip, but he has won over the distance back in October when he accounted for one of today's rivals Chilli Cheetah (T3). He was slowly away that day in a S3 contest, but still had his rival almost a length back in fourth. Not one to strike a line through.

Putyourfootinit (T5) has earned two golds and two silver medals in his last four outings and is sure to have plenty of support at Sandy Lane. She returned to 595 metres last time out after a series of outings over the one-lap distance and in doing so she accounted for several of today's rivals. The June 2004 whelp defeated the favourite Chilli Cheetah (T2) by two lengths and also had See You Later (T1) trailing in her wake in fourth. One for the shortlist.

Send it Glory (T6) has found it hard to win of late. Not managed to cross the line first since June last year, but the Terry Kibble-trained dog was defeated by the narrowest of margins last time out over today's trip. The October 2002 whelp was 3/1 joint-favourite on February 6, but was beaten a short head by Mclean Attitude after making his challenge from bend four. Has been left at the start recently, but he can go one better this time to end his winless streak.

Queen to show her late speed
Miss Poker Queen (T4) looks all set to go one better in the Stan James Bookmakers stakes in the last race on the card at 5.44 and her finishing speed should see her first past the judge.

Drom Lass (T1) was a winner in an A4 contest last time out, defeating Mindies Pal by one and three quarter lengths in a time of 27.64sec, which will not unduly worry today's field. The June 2003 whelp is stepping up to A3 company this afternoon and she will find things a little tougher.

Airforce Vader (T2) has been consistent in recent outings but has not managed to win a race since August 2006. Her last three outings have seen her finish second and third twice all over today's 450 metre distance. She did win a trial last week over the greater distance of 595 metres, beating Ballymacree Lass by one and a half lengths. The February 2004 whelp will be staying on from arc four as she makes a late bid for gold.

Kaykays Chief (T3) has won two from his last four starts but is stepping up to A3 grade this afternoon. The Terry Kibble-trained newcomer was fourth last weekend, beaten three and a quarter lengths by Gowner Girl after sleeping at the off. He will need to break quickly if he is to trouble the judge but cannot be written off.

Miss Poker Queen (T4) has won two of her 11 starts and was second last time out beaten one length by Tuttles Train in an A3 contest. The Maurice Massey-trained bitch has been running in A2 company and was headed by Peace Emblem on December 29th in a creditable run. The December 2004 whelp has a finishing kick and she is one for the shortlist.

Marinas Peach (T5) has been worth following of late in lower grades and was third beaten three quarters of a length to Gowner Girl last time out. But that performance was enough to see off Kaykays Chief (T3) by two and a half lengths. The September 2004 whelp is quickly into her running but there are question marks over her stamina.

Regis Girl (T6) was third in her last outing beaten a length by Eden Stone after leading at the final bend. The July 2004 whelp failed to make her good early work count and she cannot afford to be so wasteful if she is to win in this company. Unlikely to carry much support and one to lay.
