Ed Nicholson is now 5 wins from 8 selections this week - can he keep up the good work this afternoon? Well, he's turning to Monmore this afternoon where he likes the look of two six bend hounds.....

Monmore's track is as fair a test of a greyhound as you could ask for, and although their BAGS races are always tightly graded, I reckon there are two dogs running today worth crashing into there this afternoon.

Combridge Kangoo has a tremendous record in S3 grade at the Wolverhampton track having won four from five such contests, while her overrall record isn't bad either - 18 wins from 63 outings.

She is housed in trap five this afternoon at 4.57pm and really should lead these around that first top bend. Granted there could be scrimmaging at this stage - it's not a long run to the first two turns over 630m - but she could and should be clear. If that was to be the case a recent 39.29 from the front in S4 grade shows she will take an awful lot of pegging back once in front. The six dog is a danger if following her through on the outside as that one stays well - but I reckon Combridge Kangoo will have enough lead to repel any late challengers and should be backed at anything over [3.5] today.

Two races earlier, at 4.18pm, Another trap five could be successful in the form of Back the Bunny. This May 2005 bitch has a rapid 39.66 to her name in this S6 grade - and has won an impressive three from nine at this level. She isn't the best away from the boxes, but if granted anywhere near a clear run - as she did two races back - she has the stamina to mow these down late on.

She makes a quick return to this grade having found S5 beyond her last time, S6 is more her cup of tea. Take anything over [4.0].
