We've made a new addition to the greyhound page of betting.betfair.com - and we think you're going to like him!

Ladies and gentlemen, meet Betfair Star a puppy based with Betfair Trainers' Championship-winning trainer Seamus Cahill.

Formerly Shanteens Star, 'Champ' arrived with Seamus Cahill (2008 Betfair Trainers' Championship winner) in early May and has since had four trials at Walthamstow so far...

27th May - 430m - 26.59
3rd June - 475m - 29.38
11th June - 475m - 29.48 (-10)
19th June - 475m - 29.84

In time we'll be offering shares in the dog to the public - and there'll be more details on that soon - but in the meantime we'll keep you updated on his progress with diaries, pictures and video footage as he hopefully rises through the grades to become a serious greyhound.
