AVAGO DAISIE (T1) certainly wasn't disgraced in A6, yet still benefits from a drop in class. She shouldn't have any problems seizing immediate command on the inside passage and she boasts strength-in-depth. 'Daisie' looks set for an all-the-way success.
CYRILS HILL (T2) was lowered to the basement level last Tuesday and he took full advantage of the situation. He normally saves his best work for the final quarter of proceedings therefore will need to get his takeover technique spot-on.
CAILIN (T3) is struggling to make any kind of impact at the moment and it's very hard to make a serious case for her. Tardy departures and traffic congestion are both cause for concern and it's probably wise to wait for some positive signals.
COMRADES GLORY (T4) enters the hurly-burly of competitive racing for the first time this evening. This September 2005 babe was slow gathering momentum during her training period but showed plenty of determination and is bound to improve from tonight's experience.
MAGGIEANDRICHARD (T5) doesn't win many but when the mood is right he is capable of upsetting the applecart. He will bide his time patiently in the background before bringing his stamina into operation. If he is to land top honours, more than likely, he will swoop in the shadow of the post.
MORE THAN CASH (T6) has finished stone last in her last couple of outings which is slightly off-putting. However, her last success was accomplished in A7 grade from trap 6 and it would be folly to dismiss her claim lightly. She likes nothing more than bowling along at the head of affairs.
CEFNEITHEN CAN END THE DROUGHT
BELLE VUE 20.40
DARK JUSTICE (T1) has been a wonderful servant to connections throughout his long career (celebrates his sixth birthday this year). He isn't the quickest from the gates these days but has a fine change of pace passing the halfway point of proceedings.
CEFNEITHEN BEAR (T2) hasn't enjoyed the best of fortune over the past few weeks but tonight's ease in grade is the best possible incentive. He's flanked by moderate escapees so he should see daylight from the word go and, having staying qualities in his repertoire, he would appear to be the one they all have to beat.
AUTUMN GOVERNER (T3) comes from way off the pace to present his challenge. The big question is - will those gaps open up for him at the appropriate times? Being the youngest in the assembly he has the most scope for improvement.
FAHY HEARTACHE (T4) comes under the spotlight for the first time of asking. Trial scouts reported favourably and they reckon she will soon break her maiden tag. She travels at a fair clip from pillar-to-post and her 28.86 on the training ground measures up nicely.
DUSTY BYWAY (T5) is starting to show signs of a revival. She made an amazing recovery, to grab a share of the minor purse last Thursday, after being knocked off course at the second corner. Those battling qualities should, again, take 'Dusty' very close indeed.
SMOOTH AUSSIE (T6) isn't always foot-perfect at the trap release but she possesses genuine all-round ability. She will relish the switch back to her favoured zebra jacket and is sure to make her presence felt along the back straight.
ROSE CAN BLOSSOM AGAIN
BELLE VUE 21.10
FEES ROSE (T1) can't put a foot wrong at the moment. She has scored in all three races after seasonal rest (A3 & A2 x 2). She moves into the premier league for a crack at a four-timer and no doubt we will witness a smash-and-grab strategy.
DINNYS HONCHO (T2) has early-paced characters on either side so he may find racing room at a premium during the opening exchanges. If he does manage to corner without mishap his backstretch burst of speed could be the key to success.
MITCHELLTOWN BOY (T3) is currently suffering from that annoying near-miss syndrome. He will be in the thick of the action the moment the traps snap open but whether he can outmanoeuvre Fees Rose on the run-up is another matter.
CARNCOME GEM (T4) endured a severe bashing on Open Race duty over the minimum 280 metres trip at Coventry two days ago. She bagged a fine A1, runner-up award previously and is such a bold sort when she gets her own way up front.
KITCAR SILO (T5) was a regular on the Open Race scene in his prime and, despite his years, (Sept. 2002 whelp) he is still running among A1 calibre on the graded front. 'Silo' can do the business from the front or come from behind to grab a result and he rarely relinquishes an advantage.
HEAD ITON TED (T6) scored in the top-flight last Friday clocking a personal best 28.24 in the process. He quickly slips through the gears and will maintain the forward motion for the entirety of the contest. Being the sole wide seed, a trouble-free route is more or less guaranteed.
