The Hawk keeps watching those BAGS dogs. Here are another two to watch.
Ray's Zoro ran well in midweek despite finding plenty of trouble at Newcastle and this little bitch is sure to be found a suitable race in the coming weeks. The September 2006 whelp is tiny and will always suffer any crowding that's going - but because she's slow away from the traps, she sometimes misses the bother and just runs her race. The ex-Mildenhall and Yarmouth runner won an A5 contest two runs back and this week ran third upped in grade to an A4 having been crowded at the first turn. She showed great heart to run on up the straight to show she can win in this grade shortly. Her A5 win was in 29.59 when she got up right on the line. I would also consider her from the front of a handicap as she would be away from possible crowding.
Ray's Zoro, Newcastle, A5
Tales ran well earlier this week at Hall Green and his turn doesn't look far away. The May 2006 whelp always runs wide on this course and genuinely needs trouble inside to be seen to maximum effect. He wasn't that well fancied last time but chased home the well backed favourite who had a clear run throughout.
Tales is far from a win machine - but he has managed 8 wins in 56 appearances and has won a third of his races at A6 level. He must have the stripes and ideally would be suited in a race full of early pace. I'll be following him and expect to see him pick up one of his next three races at this A6 level.
Tales, Hall Green, A6
