Adam first got into greyhounds when his parents took him to Wimbledon as a youngster. Since then his interest grew and with school mates the dogs were a regular night out before a game of cards after.

He has had dogs with Phil Rees at the track recently and currently he has his kennel hand licence. About that he says: “Thankfully I just help my mate out every now and then on days off as the hours are very long and I am not sure I could do it for a living. Maximum respect goes to the people who do this full time, but I do find the hands on work with the dog’s very fulfilling, greyhounds are superb animals and its breathtaking to see them fly up the gallops”.

Adam is a regular at the track and can be seen down at Plough Lane most weekends.
