Start Again (T6), who makes the switch to the striped lane, looks to boast decent prospects in Oxford's opening A9 contest run over 450 metres and due underway at 14:21.

Haydock Breeze (T1), a lightly raced sort, comes here without a win from six career starts. With Gil Hepden's pup likely to struggle to lead in this company, and having plenty to do on the clock, a lay should be the safest option.

Emmas Rex (T2), who boasts a decent record at the grade, cannot be ruled out. Maurice Massey's veteran, who has a chance of leading at the corner, ran well enough in defeat in a similar contest last time to suggest that the November 01 whelp can play a part.

Toms Crow (T3), who performed with credit the other day despite being given the bird by backers, needs to improve on the clock to overcome a tricky pitch.

Rowanshee Chief (T4), who leaves the traps in his own time, is likely to be outpaced at the turn. However Paul Clarke's golden-oldie, who will be staying on when others have cried enough, may be able to reach a place.

Riverbank Bullet (T5), currently on a seven-race losing run, appears to have lost his confidence. Pat Curtin's slow starter, who seems to find all the problems in-running, does not look a safe conveyance.

Start Again (T6), a likeable individual, looks a serious challenger. Nicely positioned on the wide outside, the April 04 whelp, who posted a phenomenal 27.86 when landing an A6 in December, looks well treated in this much weaker company.

Farloe Pagan well treated in A8

Farloe Pagan (T6) last ran in this company 18 races ago and bolted up in a good time. Dropped back to the same level today, Pat Curtin's charge is likely to attract plenty of backers in the A8 contest run over 450 metres and due underway at 16:22.

Boherduff Specks (T1), a former Swindon hound, generally keeps his eyes shut on leaving the traps. However, with Robert Hannan's inconsistent individual having posted a sizzling 27.88 on the clock when picking up a similar event just over a month ago, the old campaigner cannot be ruled out.

Backinaminute (T2), who landed a gamble when landing an A9 event three runs ago, should be in the mix. Terry Atkins' bitch has nothing to find on the calculated clock, and can make an impression with a clear passage.

Born To Succeed (T3), who has lost his last 14 successive races, has definitely not been living up to his name in recent weeks. On reading these statistics, many layers will probably be rubbing their hands with glee at the prospect of some easy pickings.

Loughlea Jet (T4), who boasts cracking early pace, is expected to lead at the turn. However, Michael Peterson's charge, who has been ignored by the majority of backers in recent weeks, tends to fade badly in the home straight.

Pass By Beauty (T5), who finished behind T3 the other day, looks open to more improvement than the majority of her rivals. However, the fact that Ian Wills' challenger is without a win at this level after four races, has to be a worrying statistic for backers.

Farloe Pagan (T6) may well take the beating out wide. Although Pat Curtin's veteran is currently on a ten-race losing streak, that does not tell the whole story since the son of Jamella Prince was tackling stronger opposition on each occasion. It appears that, with the Oxford Racing Manager having dropped the September 02 whelp into a much more suitable level, backers have a chance to take advantage.

Exhilaration in exhilarating form in A3

Exhilaration (T3), who is in the form of his life at present following his sparkling hat-trick, bids to make a winning debut in the grade in the concluding A3 event over 475 metres and due underway at 17:44.

Moig Breeze (T1), a sluggish starter, who has been beaten out of sight in her last two races, is not to be underestimated switched to the inside lane. However, with Angie Kibble's bitch having tasted defeat in each of her last eight outings at the grade, a lay should prove the safest option.

Airforce Vader (T2), who has not won any of her last 22 races, looks a layer's dream greyhound. Predicted to go off at short odds in the trade papers, Terry Atkins' challenger appears difficult to fancy.

Exhilaration (T3), the winner of his last three races, boasts middle pace in abundance. With Luciano Magnasco's veteran on a roll at present, the four-timer looks a distinct possibility granted a clear run at the bunny.

Mindies Dancer (T4), who is unexposed at the grade, commands the utmost respect. With Ron Bicknell's bitch looking set to lead, the daughter of Droopys Woods should avoid any potential traffic problems.

Rackethall Blue (T5), who posted a sizzling 27.44 when making all the running to land an A4 last month, is the fastest dog in the line-up on the calculated clock. However, Robert Hannan's lightly raced individual is beginning to looks frustrating at this level following six successive defeats.

Marley Jet (T6), who has been running in Open races, is clearly held in some regard. However, proven form at this level is a must and with Ian Wills' youngster sadly out of form, layers may well find this to be a decent opportunity.
