As our competition enters its final week, Paul Krishnamurty discusses the leading contestants' chances and provides an update on the standings...

Short-priced favourites won both counting events last week, which is bad news for the chasing pack in our competition. This is the final week, and despite double points being available at the
Dubai World Championship, long-term leader Gary Binosh is almost over the line.

Second-placed Ontheteeee did narrow the gap last week, but his line-up is very similar to the leader's, making a change at the top mathematically impossible. Both, for instance, have Martin Kaymer, Luke Donald, Charl Schwartzel and Matteo Manassero. Third-placed Mark Peters, however, does have a chance if Edoardo Molinari can deliver, given his current [100.00] quote.

There are a few teams further back with a distant chance, because they are on rank outsiders. Sixth-placed demoncleaners, for instance, is 258 points down, but has Darren Clarke, who would earn well over 300 with victory at the Earth Course. The top-five teams are listed below.
