Henry Cecil has confirmed the strongly-fancied Sound Of Nature as a definite runner in Wednesday's 1m Royal Hunt Cup at 16.20.

Previously it had been thought that the progressive four-year-old would take his place in Friday's 1m2f listed Wolferton Stakes, however Sound Of Nature's official rating meant he might fail to make the cut in that event.

"Personally I think that ten furlongs is his best trip, but the Hunt Cup is generally run at a great pace, so from that point of view it shouldn't be totally against him," explained owner Khaled Abdulla's racing manager, Teddy Grimthorpe.

Luca Cumani's Pride Of Nation headed the Betfair market for the Hunt Cup prior to its suspension, closely followed by Sound Of Nature, bidding to give Henry Cecil a remarkable 71st winner at Royal Ascot.
