Jamie Spencer's position at the head of the Champion Jockey market is coming under increasing pressure with plenty of recent support for Seb Sanders.

Spencer is still clinging on to favouritism in the Betfair market at 2.02 but Sanders, who was matched at a high of 20, is closing in and is now trading at 2.36.

It has been Spencer's enforced absence from the track due to suspension which has seen the turn around in the market, for which he was supported at a low of 1.4.

Sanders was five winners clear of Spencer going into the weekend action and will be eager to build a lead before the Irishman returns to the saddle on Monday.

A full book of rides at Wolverhampton on Saturday evening is followed by five booked mounts for Brighton on Sunday afternoon.

Neil Callan is next best in the list at 13.5 ahead of Kerrin McEvoy on 22 and the soon-to-return Ryan Moore on 27.
