Miguel Angel Jimenez landed the 16th European Tour win of his career
Spaniard backed at [170.0] before ousting Westwood in a dramatic four-hole playoff
The Gulf Swing came to a dramatic conclusion with a playoff victory for European Tour favourite Miguel Angel Jimenez at the Dubai Desert Classic.
The much-loved Spaniard was hugely out of form coming into the tournament and was backed at an in-running high of [170.0] for the victory. But the 46-year-old rode his luck throughout a fluctuating final day and managed to land the tournament at the fourth extra hole following a playoff with Lee Westwood.
The English world no.4 was matched at a low of [1.09] for the win. Westwood remains the [4.5] favourite to win the 2010 Race To Dubai. Jimenez can be backed at [55.0]
