Phil Mickelson's injury problems appear to have had an impact on Betfair punters ahead of the US Open at Oakmont.
The left-hander admits he is still suffering pain from a wrist injury as he prepares to challenge for the second Major of the year.
Mickelson picked up the injury during a practice session at Oakmont last month and the thick US Open rough will be a concern for the world number two and his backers.
Having traded as low as 8 to win, the world number two is now available to back at 18 in a market headed by Tiger Woods at 4.6.
Mickelson admitted: "I probably won't be pain-free as I had hoped but I should be able to have it manageable, as long as I don't aggravate it in the rough.
"I am looking forward to playing, I should be able to play no problem."
He added: "I've got a really good game plan mapped out for the tournament.
"I'm just not sure if I'm going to be ready to implement it because I haven't had the normal practice and preparation that I would have going into a major."
Mickelson is due to tee off his first round at 18:36 BST, with the former Masters champion playing alongside Adam Scott and Jim Furyk.
2003 champion Furyk is the 2.76 favourite to win Thursday's three-ball, with Mickelson trading at 2.98 and Australian Scott available to back at 3.1.
