Find Me A 100 Winner: Ken Duke

He's never won on tour but 40-year-old Duke is playing some royally good golf at present, which makes odds of [230.0] worth an investment.
Considering the fact that 40 year-old Ken Duke has never won on the PGA Tour, any bet on him has to be seen as a particularly speculative trade. But having played four solid rounds on his Masters debut, and as his price is a massive [230.0], it might be a risk worth taking in this week's Verizon Heritage Classic.
Its not as if Duke is a stranger to contention by any means. He twice finished runner-up last season, in the US Bank Championship and in November's Ginn Sur Mer Classic. In the previous season, he also just missed out in the Zurich Classic, and with a series of other top-10s to his name, he must be one of the best players yet to win at the highest level. He was certainly one of a very small number in that category at Augusta, but didn't disgrace himself by any means with a level par total over the four rounds. Few debutants can boast a better first effort on that course.
It may just be the spark he needs to kick his 2009 campaign up a gear. After this corresponding week last year, Duke missed only two cuts until the end of the season, registering eight top-15 finishes. Duke's record on this course is fair too, finishing 10th on his 2007 debut before a mid-division effort last year.
