Earl Of Sefton winner Manduro is likely to tackle the Prince Of Wales Stakes at Royal Ascot on June 20, according to trainer Andre Fabre.
The five-year-old, who was knocking on the door in the top races last term, has proved to be high class this season when winning Newmarket's Group Three contest and then scoring at the top level for the first time when taking the Prix d'Ispahan last month.
The entire also holds an entry in the Queen Anne at the Royal Meeting, but it seems the master French handler has outlined his intentions.
"Manduro will be my only runner at Royal Ascot, unless I make any last-minute supplements, and at the moment there is a slight preference for the Prince Of Wales Stakes," Fabre said.
"He's also in the Queen Anne Stakes over a mile and I need to talk to his owner before finalizing a target, but the longer race is my preference."
Manduro is available to back on the Betfair ante-post market for the Prince Of Wales Stakes, and currently trades at 6.8 having been backed in from a high of 22.
Aidan O'Brien's Dylan Thomas holds favouritism at 3.6, followed by Red Rocks (5.2) and Mandesha (5.6).
