The relentlessly consistent Luke Donald
Odds: [15.0]
Last five PGAs: mc/43/-/32/3
Will Luke Donald ever bring his 'A-game' to a major? Until then, he'll struggle to gain the recognition his world number one ranking deserves. Outside the majors, Donald's form is peerless. This season he's won top prizes at the World Matchplay, BMW PGA Championship and Scottish Open, finally getting some silverware to reward his relentlessly consistent play. Luke must surely improve on a PGA record of one top-20 in seven tries, and there's absolutely no reason why he shouldn't contend. Almost exactly the same, however, could have been said before failures in the last two majors.
