Until recently, Toms would have been considered a rank outsider to regain the title he won on this course ten years ago. He's only missed one PGA cut since, but was generally reckoned to have seen better days. However, 2011 has seen DT reverse the ageing process and he heads to Atlanta in fine fettle, especially after Sunday's top-ten, with an excellent chance. This season he's won at Colonial, been runner-up at Sawgrass and third at Bay Hill. Amongst the PGA field, Toms is the most accurate driver, and ranks third for greens in regulation.
