Two-time US Open champion Retief Goosen
Who would imagine there would come a time when Ernie Els [240.0], Retief Goosen [180.0] and Jim Furyk [130.0] would be defined amongst 'the rest'? It is hard to see any of this illustrious trio adding to their combined tally of six majors right now though, with only Goosen able to boast even moderate form in 2011. Els will not be looking forward to Atlanta's fast greens.
A likelier past major champion is Lucas Glover at [120.0]. Glover pulled off an enormous shock at the 2009 US Open, but has since gone to prove it was no fluke. He contended for a long way when 12th at the Open, and won May's Well Fargo Championship at future PGA venue Quail Hollow.
Paul Casey [240.0] is another star to have completely disappeared off the radar lately, but his supporters can at least take the positives out of a closing 67 at Firestone.
Webb Simpson [100.0] has been relentlessly consistent this season, registering 14 top-25 finishes, including nothing worse than 16th on his last six starts. He has yet to win though, and looked decidedly nervy in contention last time.
Martin Laird [140.0] has already won at Bay Hill this year, and contended for a long way at Firestone over the weekend. Laird has a great record around this time of year.
While Darren Clarke [280.0] was one of the most popular Open winners ever, it would surely be asking too much for a repeat. In contrast to the Open, the PGA was never his favourite major, and Darren endured a torrid time at Firestone.
