Matt Kuchar is a solid option for a high finish but can he win?
Odds: [40.0]
Last five US Opens: 6/mc/48/mc/mc
Last year's PGA Tour Money List winner has become an almost permanent fixture on weekend leaderboards, with an incredible 21 top-ten finishes to his name over the past two years. He's yet to seriously challenge for a major, but Kuchar did finish sixth in last year's US Open and appears to have the right credentials for this test. Matt has earned his fortune by cutting out mistakes, relentlessly hitting greens in regulation and giving away nothing around the greens. Those skills should serve him well in a major where just saving par represents a move forward. Second place at the Memorial was the ideal warm-up.
