Odds: [30.0]
Last five US Opens: 8/mc/53/-/-
Kaymer's rapid progress seems to have stalled since a short spell as world number one, although there's no reason to think he won't return to winning ways soon. None of the German's recent failures came at venues where he was particularly fancied, and he remains one of the game's great prospects. Granted, Kaymer's US career has generally lacked the spark we've seen in Europe, but he did win last year's USPGA and made the top-ten in this major at Pebble Beach. That might suggest a slight preference for tough courses, which bodes extremely well for this and future US Opens.
