Can world no.16 improve upon a poor US Open record?
Odds: [38.0]
Last five US Opens: 47/47/mc/mc/mc
On the basis of his form in this season's biggest events and a relatively prolific return of eight PGA Tour victories, Choi must rate as one of the men to beat. He contended seriously, for a third time, at the Masters before going on to land his most significant title to date at Sawgrass. KJ has also won at Congressional before, albeit under rather less penal conditions, in the 2007 A T & T National. That should at least give him confidence of improving on a poor US Open record, which has seen him make just one top-20 in ten attempts.
