Following missed cuts on his last two starts, at venues where he'd thrived in the past, it is difficult to argue that the former European number one is on the verge of a breakthrough major title. Justin had, however, been playing pretty well during the spring, relentlessly hitting greens in regulation and registering a series of high finishes in big events. If able to recapture the sort of form that yielded two PGA Tour titles last summer, Rose could go well in a major where he's previously made the top-ten.
