Eight shot victory on return brings Tiger's grand slam price crashing down
After an eight shot victory in his season opener, Tiger Woods is in to [14.5] to land the grand slam this year.
And despite tonking the opposition by such a wide margin the great man declared himself disappointed with the closing manner of his Buick Invitational victory at US Open course Torrey Pines on Sunday night. During that closing 18 holes, Woods shot a final-round 71 that featured four bogeys - so the other golfers had better brace themselves.
The layers have been quick to react to that and Tiger is only [14.5] to complete the grand slam. He can be backed at [2.84] to win one major, [4.6] to land two and [9.6] for three. A major-less season is considered a [3.9] shot.
Woods tess it up on the European Tour this weekend and is rated a [2.06] chance on Betfair to win the Dubai Desert Classic this week. His nearest opponent in the betting is Henrik Stenson at [12.0].
