US Masters Betting: Tips to make the top-10 and top-20
Bubba Watson's game is perfect for Augusta

"Bubba Watson is this decade's Mickelson and, so long as he handles the pressure and extra media commitments, is bound to put up a strong defence of his title. As seen with Phil and 2001 champion Mike Weir, being left-handed offers a further advantage on this course."

Betting on the Masters isn't all about finding the winner. Paul Krishnamurty has scoured the top-10 and top-20 finish markets and recommends the following five bets...

Top 10 Finish

Back Bubba Watson 4u @ 4.03/1

Just as Woods, Mickelson, Singh, Els and Goosen demonstrated in the previous decade, the best big-hitters tend to repeatedly make the top-ten at Augusta, principally due to overwhelming the par-fives. Bubba Watson is this decade's Mickelson and, so long as he handles the pressure and extra media commitments, is bound to put up a strong defence of his title. As seen with Phil and 2001 champion Mike Weir, being left-handed offers a further advantage on this course.

Back Matt Kuchar 4u @ 4.216/5

Also my each-way tip, Kuchar has probably been the most reliable top-ten pick on a weekly basis over recent years. He may not have the power of Bubba and co, but accuracy and brilliance around the greens point towards frequent contention at Augusta, where he was third last year.

Back George Coetzee 1u @ 13.012/1

Every world-class South African this century has either won the Masters or finished runner-up and one day we can expect Coetzee to join them. Winning on his first visit is an extraordinarily tall order, but I do think he'll make an impressive debut and a top-ten is within range. Coetzee's combination power-hitting and putting prowess are the ideal qualities for Augusta.

Top-20 Finish

Back Fredrik Jacobson 5u @ 4.03/1

The case for Find Me a 100 Winner pick Fredrik Jacobson is made in greater detail here. He's already made this top-20 mark on two of his three visits, recovering very well from an opening 76 last year and is in fair form, making his last five top-25s.

Back Stewart Cink 3u @ 4.47/2

Without holding realistic hopes of winning or even contending, Cink is fancied to utilise a vast bank of course experience in order to earn a respectable finish. Working backwards from his best ever third place in 2008, Cink made five straight top-tens and nine top-20s in his previous ten Masters. For most of the time since, he's been in a terrible slump, but top-15s on two of his last three starts suggests he's turned the corner.
