Zach Johnson kept his head on the back nine at Augusta as everyone else lost theirs to secure his first Major. The US Ryder Cup player was matched at a high of [460.0] on Betfair and was as big as [32.0] going into the final round but kept his cool despite intense pressure from world number one Tiger Woods.
Woods was matched at a low of [1.6] just before making two successive bogeys on the final two holes of his third round and was the [1.92] favourite going into the final round. Stuart Appleby was matched at a tournament low of [3.35] and was available at [7.0] when taking a one-shot lead into the fourth round.
Retief Goosen was another who came into serious contention and was matched at a low of [2.5] when looking very strong on the front nine of the last round. Justin Rose also made a late challenge and was matched at [5.9] before a disappointing finish ruled him out of contention.
