Stenson and Wilson hit [50.0] after coming back from four down.
Henrik Stenson and Oliver Wilson came from four shots down against Phil Mickelson and Anthony Kim to pull off a remarkable comeback at the Ryder Cup today. The European pair were backed at [50.0] to win the morning foursome with the American pair taken at a low of [1.05] when their dominance looked assured.
In another topsy-turvy match Justin Leonard and Hunter Mahan were denied by Graeme McDowell and Miguel Angel Jimenez who halved the match at the death. The US pair were backed at [1.27] in-running and the Europeans at [1.46] as the game see-sawed. The eventual result was backed at [7.4].
Earlier Justin Rose and Ian Poulter despatched Stewart Cink and Chad Campbell while, in the last match out, Jim Furyk and Kenny Perry overcame Padraig Harrington and Robert Karlsson.
At the end of the foursomes, Europe had pulled themselves back into the competition to stand on five points and America on seven. The betting as the fourballs go out sees Europe at [3.0], US at [1.71] and the tie at [11.5].
