Home team never behind during three days of drama in Kentucky.
It took two days and eight singles matches, but the USA finally managed to reclaim the Ryder Cup after a nine year winless gap.
Paul Azinger's team took the lead on the first day and were never in deficit with Europe unable to put the home team under significant pressure.
The home team never went above [2.92] in the betting over the entire course of the competition.
Europe - who went off favourites at a touch of odds-on - were backed at a low of [1.72].
The final day promised much but the tone was set early on when Anthony Kim (pictured) pummelled European Sergio Garcia in the first match.
Despite a brief period of resistance, when wins from Robert Karlsson and Justin Rose brought the scores to 10-9 the Americans were soon forging ahead. They went on to win the Cup when Miguel Angel Jimenez was unable to hole from 20 feet against Jim Furyk on the 17th green of their match.
Ian Poulter, a highly contentious wildcard selection for Nick Faldo, was matched at a high of [40.0] in the top points scorer market.
