The inaugural Portugal Masters will be played between October 18-21, with a stella field expected for the brand new event.

Ryder Cup points are up for grabs and the big guns of the European tour will try to land the odds at the Victoria Clube de Golfe in Vilamoura.

Open champion Padraig Harington is always a popular bet and his stock has risen since winning at Carnoustie with the popular Irishman a shrewd bet to finish near the top of the field in Portugal.

Graeme Storm has had his backers this year and claimed the French Open back in early July and he appears to be a player in form and one to consider betting on in Vilamoura.
