The golf circus moves to the Sheshan International Golf Club in Shanghai for the HSBC Champions tournament, held between November 8-11.

Some of the biggest names in the sport will be on view with world number two Phil Mickelson looking to land his first tournament victory outside the USA since 1993.

Ernie Els, Vijay Singh and Sergio Garcia are also in the field and so betting at great odds will be available on a number of former major winners.

Korea's Yang Yong-Eun will be back to defend his title, after holding off the challenge of Tiger Woods 12 months ago, while Woods was also runner-up in 2005 behind England's David Howells.

The tournament is open to any players who has won on the various worldwide tours and so a wide and varied field is expected.

Tiger Woods' participation has not been confirmed as the world number one has been selective in his outings after becoming a father for the first time this summer.

Americans have tended to shun the event but top Europeans such as Colin Montgomerie, Lee Westwood and Justin Rose are expected to be in the line-up.

The tournament does not involve a half-way cut and so betting will be at fever pitch with odds changing all the time as players come back into the reckoning over the last 36 holes.

Padraig Harrington has struggled for form since land his first major at the Open Championship but will be a strong bet for a good finish in the Far East.
