The admirable Stricker has been typically consistent this season, making every cut, winning the Memorial Tournament and only twice finishing outside the top-20. Like so many leading Americans, he's rarely carried his best form across the Atlantic, only twice making the top-20 in this major. Nevertheless, Stricker is hardly short of either class or form, and would appear to have the course management and scrambling skills required to negotiate a tough links layout.
