Is Lee Westwood getting tired of not quite winning all these majors?
Odds: [13.0]
Last five Opens: 2/3/63/35/41
Westwood's name is becoming a permanent fixture on major leaderboards, but the Worksop Wonder has still yet to win one. Third place at Congressional was Lee's fifth top-three finish in his last seven majors, including the last two Opens. He owes that consistent record to a relentlessly accurate and reliable long game, as there is always a premium on hitting greens in regulation on these tough championship layouts. Royal St Georges will be no different. The fact he missed the cut here in 2003 can probably be overlooked, as Westwood is a more accomplished links performer nowadays.
