Jim Furyk - a classy performer available at a big price

With four previous top-five finishes to his name, very few Americans have consistently fared better than Furyk in recent Open Championships. His trademark tee to green accuracy should in theory be a big asset around Sandwich, although the same could have been said when he missed the cut in 2003, a few weeks after winning the US Open. A terrible run on the PGA Tour has led layers to dismiss Furyk, but you won't find many classier characters around his price range.
