Whilst remaining one of the best up and coming Americans, Johnson hasn't quite recaptured his 2010 form this time around. The fact his career highlights came at Pebble Beach offers some hope for future appearances on links courses, and 14th at St Andrews was a decent second attempt in this major. However, that wide-open layout was ideal for Dustin's huge-hitting talents, whereas Sandwich has never been a course that can be overpowered.
