"Garcia has a good record at the USPGA, he finished 10th last time the tournament came to Hazeltine and will surely feel a good week can help banish the demons of last year."

Is the market under-estimating a two time major champion? Can Sergio banish his demons? Is it down to a big hitter to master this monster course? Daniel Geraghty picks his three for Hazeltine...

Last week Bryce Molder was a huge disappointment but selections Kevin Na and Martin Laird made up for it, finishing fifth and second respectively. This week, like many, I'm convinced Tiger Woods is unbeatable so my three for the column will be in the without Woods market once more.

Angel Cabrera comes into this event as a two time major champion for the first time. Both of his major wins were achieved at good prices and I think the market underestimates the big man once more. The course will suit Cabrera more than many and he'll not lack self belief.

For a long time last year it looked like Sergio Garcia's name was on this trophy and I'm not sure he's fully got over the disappointment of his eventual defeat to Padraig Harrington. However, he's looked better of late and played very well at times during the Open. Garcia has a good record at the USPGA, he finished 10th last time the tournament came to Hazeltine and will surely feel a good week can help banish the demons of last year.

At this point I'm very aware that I've selected a South American and a European. The USPGA is a tournament that has historically seen Americans do well. My third selection is Dustin Johnson. This is only Johnson's second season on tour but the huge hitting American has two victories to his name. While some of his fellow 'bombers' have disappointed on tour, Johnson has proved he can win. If anyone has a chance of overpowering this, the longest course in Major championship history it's Dustin.

Selections (Winner w/o Woods): Angel Cabrera (46.0), Sergio Garcia (36.0), Dustin Johnson (210.00)
