Will Poulter's WGC win inspire Justin Rose?
"This week sees both world number twos in the field (and playing together!), the official one - Phil Mickelson and the deluded one - Ian Poulter. I would rather they had stayed at home to be honest, because I fear both in this field. Particuarly Big Phil, as ever."
A fantastic field has assembled in Scottsdale and Dan Geraghty has been focusing on the long priced value in the pack
Last weeks selections fared appallingly, although with hindsight I don't regret them (apart from maybe Mr Nicholas Dougherty). Stuart Appleby couldn't improve on his poor early season form, Dougherty continually insisted on taking one step forward and two back and once again David Duval couldn't string two good performances together.

It can't have been easy for Justin Rose to watch the Match Play final, Rose was once England's great hope and not only did he have to watch Poulter and Casey fight out the final last week, Rose didn't make the 64 man field. His fall down the rankings has served as a wake up call and after a lot of hard work he believes he's driving the ball better than he's ever done. It's only a matter of time before Rose gets the results his hard work deserves and watching his close friend Poulter hit such great heights last week can spur him on to a good week here.
Boo Weekley has fallen off the radar a bit since his impressive Ryder Cup performances. However, he looked on the way back at times last week and played better golf than his finishing position of 55th suggests. Weekley hit the top 10 the last time he was here in 2008 and I think the course suits, he's a big price at [210.0].
When JB Holmes won here in 2008 he overpowered the course and Phil Mickelson had no answer to his extra distance in the playoff. Bubba Watson has the power to match Holmes and arguably has more finesse around the greens. This course sets up well for Watson and he's played well here before. He's a Scotsdale resident and after his good start to the season, is an appealing price here. What Bubba currently lacks is the ability to get over the winning line so be prepared to trade once more!
Selections: To Win: Justin Rose [140.0], Boo Weekley [220.0] Bubba Watson [110.0]
Top Ten: Justin Rose [8.2], Boo Weekley [13.5], Bubba Watson [9.0]
