Jason Day is trading at [170.0] to win this week and there's plenty of mileage in that price according to Dan Geraghty
"I selected Jason Day in this column last week and watched with interest as he played his way into 12th place. Incredibly his week included 13 bogeys AND three double bogeys so he did wonderfully well to finish five shots off the lead."
Dan Geraghty picks out three men from the Deutche Bank odds worth backing this week
Last week's main selection Sergio Garcia finished the first day trading at [5.8] after starting the day at [40.0]. So, hopefully Sergio's followers are au fait with trading as the Spaniard once again fell away tamely and is now not a betting proposition for me until next year at least. Jason Day played very well (noted below) but unfortunately big hitting Bubba Watson missed another cut.

Two months ago, in the few days leading up to the defence of his Open title, Padraig Harrington was keen to stress that he felt the Open had come around a few weeks too early for him to be truly competitive. At the time I was sceptical and believed that it would be much longer than a few weeks before Harrington was back competing with the best in the world. However, in the last few weeks Pod has been doing exactly that and has put himself in a good position to challenge for the FedEx Cup. The Irishman is surely relishing being competitive again and a win here can make up for recent disappointments.
Ernie Els is another player who has bounced back to form recently. He was in fine form at the Barclays and, like Pod, ended up one shot fom a play-off for the title. His final card on Sunday was bogey free and he's delighted with how he's swinging the club. Els only previous appearance in this event saw him finish third last year.
I selected Jason Day in this column last week and watched with interest as he played his way into 12th place. Incredibly his week included 13 bogeys AND three double bogeys so he did wonderfully well to finish five shots off the lead at four under par. Day is a big talent and can secure his place in the next FedEx cup stage here.
After Tiger's near miss last week and his great record in this event I'd recommend dabbling in the w/Woods market as well as the outright market this week.
Selections (Outright Prices): Padraig Harrington ([18.0]), Ernie Els ([23.0]), Jason Day ([170.0])
