Major winner Ben Curtis is trading at [160.0] for the Barclays Classic
"Perhaps the best form guide to employ here is to look for players proven in the British Open. Step forward [160.0] chance Ben Curtis, who usually saves his best for the majors, particularly the Open. His links credentials go further than that famous shock triumph at Sandwich in 2003, as Ben also made the top-10 in both 2007 and 2008."
Liberty National is expected to play like a links course so find a man who can deal with wind and heavy rough, a man like Ben Curtis, available this week at [160.0]...
Liberty National, the most expensive course ever created, makes its tournament debut with this week's Barclays Classic. As one would expect given the cost, the course already has great reviews and is widely tipped as a future US Open or USPGA venue.
It certainly looks tough enough to host a major, with just about every hazard imaginable. Most significantly, it is expected to share many similarities with links courses; such as the types of rough and exposure to the wind. So perhaps the best form guide to employ here is to look for players proven in the British Open.

Other top efforts on tough championship golf courses include runner-up in both the 2008 USPGA and Wachovia Championships, and he also finished 4th in this event last year at a different venue. Recent form is fair too, with a top-25 at Hazeltine last time out, despite the fact that the USPGA course was much longer than ideal.
