America's Troy Matteson and Japan's Ryuji Imada shared the lead on 10 under par at the halfway stage of the AT&T Classic at the TPC Sugarloaf in Duluth, Georgia
Matteson made the biggest impact on the leaderboard, firing eight birdies in a bogey-free second round of 64, and is the 6.6 favourite in Betfair's outright winner market.
Hiroshima-born Imada, who has two Nationwide Tour wins, carded a solid 67 and is next best in the market on 6.8.
The pair led DJ Brigman by a shot with overnight leader Kevin Sutherland two strokes further back.
The 2006 Frys.com Open champion, Matteson, has missed the cut in six of his last 10 tournaments of the PGA Tour and his best finish this season was a tie for 11th in the tour's opening event, the Mercedes-Benz Championship.
US Masters winner, Zach Johnson, sits three strokes behind the joint leaders and is available at a close 7, with Brigman (24) and Sutherland (14) also in contention in America.
Colombia's Camilo Villegas, also three shots behind, is trading at 14.5, while Craig Kanada is available at 34.
