Betfair customers see the final round of the AT&T Classic as a shoot-out between the top two, Ryuji Imada and Troy Matteson, but Zach Johnson is waiting in the wings.
Japanese star Imada and American Matteson both carded three-under par 69s on day three to sit on 13-under for the tournament - two shots clear of Colombia's Camilo Villegas.
Masters champion Johnson is a further shot back, along with compatriots Lee Janzen and Matt Kuchar, who shot a 64 in the third round to put himself in contention.
Imada has still to win on the PGA Tour but is unconcerned about the prospect of fighting it out with Matteson and the chasing pack over the final 18 holes to break his duck stateside.
"I don't think I'll be too nervous," he said. "I slept well last night and it's not like I'm waiting by myself.
"Troy and I have been friends for a little while and we were pretty relaxed out there talking a little bit and it was just a fun day. And I think tomorrow is going to be about the same."
Matteson trades as the 3.55 favourite to lift the trophy with Imada on offer at 3.85 and Johnson available at 7.4.
Villegas can be backed at 8.4 but punters do not fancy Janzen to close the three-shot gap and the double US Open champion is trading at 28, while Kuchar is offered at 23.
