Australian wins China Open with awesome back nine as Brit chokes on final round...
Scott Strange traded at a high of [95.0] before he came from four strokes off the pace to win the China Open.
On a dramatic day at the Beijing CBD International Golf Club, the Australian shot three birdies in four holes over the back nine to finish eight under and pip Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano to the title by one shot. The Spaniard traded at low of [2.1].
It was a frustrating day for overnight leader Richard Finch, who was matched as short as [2.0] before three over on the front nine left him with a mountain to climb. Finch, whose unreliabilty and habit of choking the Betfair Punter yesterday warned bettors of, eventually finished at five under in a tie for third.
Final Leaderboard:
-8 S Strange, -7 Fernandez-Castano, -6 M Brown, R Finch, A Hall, -5 D Dixon, S Dodd
