73190472.jpgErnie Els says he has shaken off his World Match Play disappointment as he heads for the Johnnie Walker Classic in search of a third triumph.

Els was surprisingly dumped out of the Arizona tournament in the first round by Wales' Bradley Dredge.

But the South African, whose past two successes in this event came on Australian soil - in 2003 in Perth and in 1997 in Queensland - is not too concerned by his early exit last week and is confident of a turnaround in fortunes.

He said: "I'm not reading much into last week's first-round loss in Tucson and overall I feel like my game is in good shape."
Els has been in decent form of late, having finished third at the Qatar Masters, second at the Dubai Desert Classic and third at the Nissan Open before his World Match Play shock.

Els believes he is due a change of luck and is determined to make amends for his surprise loss in Tucson.
He added: "I'll be returning here with some pretty good vibes.

"I mean, it's a golf course that I've always enjoyed playing, even though when I first came here in 1994 I finished only tied 16th."
Els is trading as the favourite at 7 to win his third Johnnie Walker Classic, while Retief Goosen is also fancied at 10.

Els is also available at 2.36 to achieve a top-five finish but punters can expect more movement in the markets when the tournament gets underway on Thursday.
